An asymmetrical composition of forms was used to meet the peculiar volume requirements associated with the construction of Lake Union Landing: 10,000 sq. ft. on the upper floor and 6,000 sq. ft. on the lower.The building's design is essentially three shear cores of concrete block contrasted with light open-web steel construction on the interior, and metal wall panels and a metal shading device on the exterior. The project's architect was Mithun Architect, Seattle.
