Hearst Field Annex

In preparation for the extensive renovation and seismic updating of its campus buildings, the University of California, Berkeley constructed the Hearst Field Annex, a four-building complex that will house displaced departments.GEZ Architects designed the four buildings using metal building systems from Butler manufacturing Co., Kansas City, MO. The schedule and flexibility of configuration of interior spaces were deemed important in the decision to go with the pre-engineered approach.
