It's no hangar, but that didn't stop anyone from suspending an airplane from the rafters of the 14,400 sq.ft. F.B.O. building constructed for Wal-Mart Beaver Lake Aviation in Rogers, AR. Appropriately enough, the plane once belonged to the late Sam Walton, Wal-Mart's visionary founder. The structure was designed by Taylor Scott Architects of Tulsa, OK. It includes a weather station, a lounge, a food service are and a fuel station. It was constructed using a post and beam pre-engineered metal building framing system from VP Buildings, Memphis, TN, and is topped with VP's SLR architectural standing seam roofing.
