Charlotte's South End Rebirth Continues With Development Of Loft-Style Commercial Space

Funky and progressive. Those aren't the words one generally uses to describe an industrial district. But then Charlotte, NC's historic South End is no ordinary industrial area…at least not anymore. Thanks to the efforts of many, it is now one of the trendiest spots in the entire city. Two of the biggest players in South End's redevelopment are MECA Properties and Narmour Wright Associates. The two local firms, the first a developer and the latter an architectural firm, have collaborated on a number of the district's renovation/revitalization projects, including the most recent-Camden Square Village West.
