After an extensive restoration, the Gettysburg Railroad Station began welcoming passengers on November 18, 2006"143 years to deliver the Gettysburg Address. The new beginning comesafter years of planning and construction funded by federal and state sources, plus a quarter million dollars in private donations from foundations and individuals.
