The concentration of Heavy metals present in ground water and soil is determined by atomic absorption specliopholomclry. The concentration of Cu. Zn were above the standard limits of WHO and LSI lor and Fe was higher concentration. Pb is detected to be in permissible limits. Ni. Cr. Co are also in permissible limits. Hie suilabilii) of ground water for drinking purpose is evaluated.
