No expense was spared to ensure the new Tampa International Jet Center would be the finest corporate aviation support facility on Florida's entire west coast. And based upon customer feedback, it is! In addition to having the largest general aviation ramp in the Tampa area, the fixed base operator has 80,000 sq. ft. of first-class hangar space, a 12,500 sq. ft. departure/arrival canopy and a spacious, comfortable lobby. With quality at the fore in virtually every aspect of construction, the facility's designer, Dye Aviation Facilities Inc. of Atlanta, GA, used metal building packages for the business' three hangar structures. They were clad with metal roof and wall systems too, with the conventionally constructed administration building between Hangars 2 & 3 featuring metal soffit panels to tie it aesthetically to the other buildings.
