In a response to producers of cylindrical parts who are implementing lean manufacturing strategies, Kasper Machine has developed the Lean Model 300L self-contained precision turning and boring machine.The single spindle, two axis can be quickly installed with practically zero clearance between machines for manufacturers who have limited floor space. It can be used individually, in work cells or in multiples for continuous production. Applications include heavy duty roughing as well as precision hard turning operations that put tremendous demand on a machine tool.
