Africa remains a wonderful continent from many perspectives. For me, one of the great draw-cards is the opportunity to still experience a continent, credited with being the cradle of humankind, as nature intended. It is in Africa where you can sit atthe foot of an incandescent camp fire and let your imagination run wild along with the quivering shadows of Acacias. And this to the accompaniment of laughing hyenas, grumping hippos and roaring lions nearby. We had the privilege to experience Africa this way in July by spending a glorious 10 days exploring southern Mozambique via Swaziland.
