The following is a short explanation of the scheme for new members: The Plant Exchange Scheme started a few years ago, as a means for members to distribute surplus plants, but the title can be misleading as it is not necessary to have a plant to exchange in order to take advantage of it. It works like this: Donors send me their list of surplus Mesembs, on the enclosed form, by the beginning of June. I collate the information on these forms and send out a full list to members, who have sent me a S.A.E., around the middle of June.
