Reducing the risk of Failure

Within Facilities Management of almost all organizations, including mining, maintenance plays a critical role in the overall productivity, safety, and efficiency of the operation. Regularly scheduled preventative maintenance procedures are required in order to maximize equipment life and reduce the risk of catastrophic failure. In combination with the purchasing and procurement departments, a large portion of the maintenance responsibility also means ensuring that the right parts are available in the right quantity at the right time.
