摘要

We have developed a self-Q-switching phase-conjugated laser resonator in which a medium cell containing a strongly absorbing liquid is used to replace a cavity mirror and aQ-switch. A stable laser output is obtained with a single pulse and single frequency. Unlike previously published papers, a conventional starter cavity is not needed in our experiment. The mechanism of the laser operation is interpreted by stimulated thermal Rayleigh scattering.
