To optimize the granulometric composition of coke fines, studies were conducted to determine the efficiency of their screening on REMA TIP TOP screens and the effect of a change in the speed of the bottom roll of the four-roll SKET coke crusher on the quality indices of the crushing operation. Use of the above screens and changing of the roll speed have reduced the amount of coke fines used for sintering without lowering the quality of the sinter.
