FRACTURE OF THE MATERIALS AND ELEMENTS OF STEEL STRUCTURES

摘要

Two more of the six most common types of fracture of steel and steel structural elements are examined: cold cracks and the lamellar fracture of welds. The corresponding micromechanisms of the fracture process are also examined along with the characteristic relief that is left on the surface.
