摘要

This article examines the energy content of steel production in an arc steelmaking furnace (ASF), the effect of furnace performance on the energy content of the combine’s products, the feasibility of optimizing the energy balance of the ASF so as to minimize energy costs while still providing the energy resources necessary to execute the production process, and the effect of various factors on the technical and economic indices of ASF operation. It is found that making the operation of the furnace more cost-effective will require multiparameter optimization of its operating regime both for individual heats and for the shop as a whole on a week-to-week or month-to-month basis.
