Remote Monitoring System Embedded in PLC

摘要

Recently facility management operations for water supply and sewage systems, requires the higher efficiency. Further, the enactment of the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) Law in Japan became a driver for promoting outsourcing of such municipal operations to the private sector. As a product to accelerate the integrated facility management and efficiency gains, we have developed a enbedded Web module unit that offers the remote monitoring functions in the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (ADC5000 / RC500). By using this Web module unit, the local control system unit can realize remote monitoring and remote maintenance functions by itself. This will promote the integrated facility management and efficient operation.
