Transformer and generator models useful for transferred voltage analysis for power stations and substations

We have successfully developed a transformer model of transferred voltage based on the data of transferred voltage obtained from measurements. It is universally useful for the accurate analysis of transformer transferred voltage waveforms, obtainable only from the rated quantities of a transformer and test data. Also for the generator model, we have developed a model based on the measurements when a generator is connected, enabling the accurate analysis of transferred voltage waveforms obtainable only from the rated quantities of the generator and general test data. If our models are adequately applied, they can solve the problems of resonance overvoltages that have been under study recently. They can be used for more dynamic lightning surge analysis, inclusive of the behavior of equipment connected to the low-voltage side of the transformer. We believe that they are very useful in the search for more dependable insulation coordination.
