摘要

It has been a long time since the formation of a new recycling type of society began to be called for in place of the former society of large consumption and large refuse type. In the new society, the reuse of resources and the utilization of things through recycling are the most significant objective. As an electrical machinery manufacturer, Meidensha Corporation has been keen on the effective utilization of natural energy that can be reproduced. The company has decisively addressed itself to contributing to the prevention of global warming, by offering the energy converter equipment and its overall systems to such a society, by which wind power and photovoltaic energy can be converted into electric energy. This paper introduces some examples of the hybrid power generating facilities, which function based on the combination of new energy resources. One is the hybrid power generating system delivered as an educational facility to Aomori Prefectural School Education Center. Another one is the Aoki Radio Relay Station of the Matsumoto Erosion and Torrent Control Office for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Hokuriku Regional Development Bureau, delivered as a power source facility for the supervisory systems.
