China overtakes India in RD: PM outlines ambitious plan to 'change the face1 of science

THE 99th Indian Science Congress was held from 3rd to 7th January, 2012 on the theme "Science and Technology for Inclusive Innovation: Role of Women" at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KMT ) University, Bhubaneswar. The Congress was jointly organized by the Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Kolkata, National Institute of Science Education (NISER) and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University. As per the tradition , it was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh.
