摘要

This paper describes applications of ultrasonography in evaluating internal genitalia and caudal aorta of stallions. Normal ultrasound characteristics of accessory sex glands., pelvic urethra and major vessels of the pelvis were presented. Moreover, the most commonly diagnosed pathologies of internal genitalia and the best methods of their diagnosis were described. On the basis of the presented material we concluded that ultrasound evaluation of internal genitalia should be performed routinely, during examinations of breeding soundness.
