Trudnosci diagnostyczne w klasyfikacji chloniakow o nietypowym fenotypie u psow.Diagnostic difficulties in classfying canine lymphoma bearing an atypical phenotype.
The study evaluated three a-typical cases of canine lymphoma having patho-morphology features and cell immunophenotypes. The markers of particular cell types as clusters of differentiation were defined using immunohistochemical and cytofluorometric methods. Two of the cases were defined as two-phenotype canine lymphoma from T-cell precursors. The phenotype in dog 1 was CD79a+ (30-50% positive cells), CD3-, CD5+ (71.84%), CD21-like+ (9.52%), CD4+ (77.61%), CD8+ (69.05%) and in dog 2 was CD79a+ (70% positive cells), CD3-, CD5+ (11.41%), CD21-like+ (31.56%), CD4+ (15.92%), CD8+ (11.52%). One of the cases was a T-cell lymphoblast lymphoma with phenotype CD79a-, CD3+ (% positive cells), CD5+ (68.25%), CD21-like+ (46.97%), CD4+ (62.81%), CD8+ (6.0%).
