摘要

The aim of the study was to evaluate the incorporation of osteochondral autografts and stored allografts into the defective articular cartilage of dogs. 8 dogs were divided into two equal groups. In group I, single osteochondral autografts were transplanted, while stored, single osteochondral allografts were used in group II. Osteochondral grafting was conducted using the Osteochondral Autograft Transfer System sets. Clinical observations, and macroscopic and histopathological examinations were performed to evaluate the therapeutic value of both types of grafts. Results indicated that osteochondral autografts and stored allografts were positively incorporated into the recipient cartilage of all dogs..
