Saudi Arabia’s Ma’aden starts production at Waad Al Shamal DAP plant

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) said late on Monday that production started at the diammonium phosphate (DAP) plant operated by its 60-owned subsidiary Ma’aden Waad Al Shamal Phosphate Co (MWSM). The plant started up on 8 July, with plans to gradually ramp up production to reach 3m tonnes/year, Ma’aden said in a filing to the Saudi Stock Exchange or Tadawul.
