Laparoscopic enterotomy procedures in pigs [Polish]

Laparoscopic bowel suturing is a technically difficult procedure to perform and requires great experience, skill and time. The commonly used method of mechanical bowel suturing in laparoscopic human surgery is considerably difficult to perform in veterinary surgery due to its high cost. Thus it has been replaced by much cheaper but more difficult manual bowel suturing. Laparacscopic manual bowel suturing using endo instruments as described in several publications has found to be completely satisfactory and this has been confirmed by radiology contrast control using a water solution of barium sulphate.
