Reverse osmosis (RO) has the potential to eliminate organic solutes from distillery condensates before recycling them into the fermentation step. However, organic solutes transport phenomena through RO membranes are specific. In this research, the rejection and sorption of five compounds using a brackish water membrane were studied.
