Emcor subsidiary builds NF water facility in Jupiter, Florida

In the USA, Emcor Group Incorporated, a company that specialises in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services, reports that its subsidiary Poole & Kent Corporation has been awarded a contract to construct, equip and test a nanofiltration (NF) water facility in Jupiter, Florida, rated at about 54 900 m~3 (around 14.5 million gallons) per day. The value of the contract is worth over US36 million. Poole & Kent will work on the supportive structures and facilities, including among others the NF and pretreatment buildings; pretreat-ment filtration, NF process, bulk chemical storage, and transfer and feed equipment; NF cleaning facilities; electrical, instrumentation and control systems; emergency generator, fuel storage and conveyance facilities; and ancillary building services.
