Acquisition strengthens Millipore's product range for disposable bio-processing systems

Massachusetts-based Millipore Corporation has entered into an agreement to acquire Newport Bio Systems, a provider of process containers used in bio-pharmaceutical production.According to Millipore, the addition of Newport Bio Systems' single-use process containers, which include bags and liners, to its Mobius range of disposable systems will provide it with the industry's broadest range of dispos-able products.
