Use of Membrane Filtration in the Recycling and Reuse of Processing Water in the Food Industry

Poultry is one of the largest agricultural commodities in the state of Georgia with the value of production of broilers being 2.9 billion dollars in 2004 for the state.According to the USDA's Georgia Agricultural Statistical Service in 2004,almost 20 gigagrams of commercial broilers were produced in the U.S.,an increase of 3% nationally from the previous year and up by more than 20% from 1997.
