Membranes in Life Science Applications

摘要

We have ncountered a new era of scientific development in teh pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. New tools have allowed scientists to sequence the human geneome and attention is now being placed on developing analogous tools for studying the human proteome. At the same time, the pharmaceutical industry is working hard to apply these new tools to its drug screening efforts in order to both increase the chances of finding new drugs and at the same time dramatically improve the overall safety of these therapies.
