Good news for Rotex, as the company's electrohydraulic actuators recently received a green light from oil and gas giant Saudi Aramco. Valve World spoke to Rotex's MD Mr Amit Shah and Vice President (Sales) MENA region Mr Tony Stark for more details. Getting approval from a company of the stature of Saudi Aramco is no easy feat, and especially when that approval is achieved with travel restrictions in place. Asked about the auditing process, Mr. Shah replies: "Due to the pandemic we started with a virtual audit, where a lot of focus was given to our engineering and quality processes. This was followed by two or three virtual calls to reverify findings. Post that we had an in-person audit and that resulted in our final approval."
