Indonesia's Baramulti eyes 44 output hike

Indonesian MINER baramulti Suksessarana (BSSR) could raise production by 44.3 to 7.0 mt this year, despite the increasing pressure facing the Indonesian coal market. BSSR and its subsidiary Antang Gunung Meratus (AGM) produced 4.85 mt last year. The miner has production capacity of 7.0 mt/y and expects this to grow to 8.5 mt/y by 2016. Its planned production increase comes as many Indonesian miners struggle to stay afloat given the significant depreciation in coal prices over the past few years.
