Registers are problem promoting

Editor – I thank Hejri et al.[1] for their study in what is an incredibly interesting and relevant subject area. They have highlighted an ever-present problem that occurs within medical schools. They highlight some alarming behaviours, with a 93% rate of respondents having impersonated a student in their absence. As we are all aware, this can manifest in several ways, the traditional scenario being the signing of a register for an absentee.
