Inaugural Lecture Joe Helms Memorial Lecture Series

摘要

I want to capture the international spirit of acupuncture in the late 20th century, the vision of medical acupuncture at the inception of the AAMA, and the accomplishments and challenges of the Academy over the past 2 decades. I would like to start with a citation from a recent book in German by Professor Paul Unschuld, a presenter at the first Academy symposium and the most insightful historian and chronicler of Chinese medicine of our time.
