A combined initiative of the Commonwealth Government and the design and building industry, Your Home is a detailed guide to comfortable living and good design based on environmentally sustainable principles. It is available as a booklet and CD, and there is also a comprehensive web site www.yourhome.gov.au. Your Home is managed through the Australian Greenhouse Office (AGO), the Commonwealth agency established in 1998 to provide a whole of government approach to greenhouse matters; it is responsible for delivering the government's 1 billion dollar climate change package. Both the CD and the website feature a separate technical manual for builders, designers and trades people as well as the more consumer orientated material featured in the Your Home booklet.
