The correction from the October highs petered out on December 17 at 2,380 dollars/tonne, and prices then rebounded as high as 2,685 dollars/tonne on December 20. They have since been consolidating mainly within a sideways channel running between 2,500 dollars/tonne and 2,670 dollars/tonne on the official price chart, although there have been two failed breaks during this time, one to the upside and one to the downside.
