As INSG reports ongoing surplus, Glencore hints at cuts

Glencore’s CEO Ivan Glasenberg provided plenty of food for thought at an investor calllast week when he firmly put the future of its Murrin Murrin and Koniambo nickeloperations in doubt. They are not only both under review, but Koniambo remainsparticularly unloved. We have already flagged up these two complexes as high-riskclosure candidates in the current market, so we were keen to digest Glasenberg’s latestcomments with a view to fine-tuning our supply outlook.
