Having set fresh lows two weeks ago at $1,618.50/tonne, lead prices bounced to a peakof $1,744/tonne last week, but then pulled back sharply on Friday to $1,661.50/tonne.Although the rebound looked encouraging, the fact that the August high of $1,767/tonne was not overcome, suggests the downward trend in lead remains intact.
