Powerday has spoken of its frustration at what it claims was ambiguity over breaches in its licence that resulted in record fines totalling ?900,000 for dealing in hazardous waste. The London-based company admitted illegally accepting 14,000 tonnes of hazardous waste, including asbestos, from various suppliers at its Old Oak Sidings facility, Willesden, in 2010.
