The founding chairman of the Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP) has announced that he is to retire after seven years in the post. Vic Cocker, 66, said his decision to retire was part of a move to bring in fresh blood to the WRAP Board and a wider reduction of his public commitments. He said he had been considering retiring as WRAP chairman for some time, but had delayed stepping down while new chief executive Liz Goodwin settled in after taking up her role in April.
