Hazardous Waste Forum tells Government to prepare plan B

The Hazardous Waste Forum fears a crisis is inevitable - and will advise the Government to prepare a contingency plan for when co disposal is banned in July. MRW understands that a draft of the report to be published next month tells ministers to ready themselves for mountains of dangerous rubbish the country cannot legally get rid of. The forum was set up by the Government to plot a path for the disposal of hazardous waste once the Landfill Directive outlaws dumping it with other refuse next year.
