Contracts for Textile Collections and Processing from Household Waste Recycling Centres 2007-2009

Kent County Council is an Excellent Rated authority and has very high expectations of itself and its contractors. The contracts which are the subject of this expression of interest centre on the collection, onward transfer and processing of textiles which are deposited at Kent County Council Household Waste Recycling Centre sites. The contracts will be awarded for a period of two years with an expected start of December 2007. These contracts are focused upon the collection of all textiles from our sites (no pre-sorting). The contracts will be area based packages (East and West Kent) but will also allow for a combined bid to be submitted for both areas.
