Bin noses to raise waste awareness

A Cheshire local authority is to use Comic Relief to illustrate just how wasteful our society is in a global context. Through council buildings, Asda, special roadshows and a local newspaper, Vale Royal Borough Council will be distributing Bin Noses in an effort to raise money for the charity. And while it is also hoped that the "enormous hooters" printed on removable stickers will spread awareness of the need to recycle, a major goal of the campaign is to cut the amount of food people place in their bins each year.
