Softening international steel prices are feeding through to the domestic Indian market - although prices have less scope to decline than in many other countries as they have been reduced to artificially tow levels by government intervention so far this year. Under current circumstances - weak Industrial output and with the government still threatening export duties on coil - we do not expect to see domestic supply increase enough to drive prices down much further.
