The Langton Institute for Young Mathematicians (and theirteachers) was founded by the Simon Langton GrammarSchool for Boys in Canterbury in December of 2008. Itsmain aim is to support gifted and talented pupils in their pursuitof creative mathematics through an inquiry led learningapproach. The students and teachers are equally responsible forthe ethos and direction of the Institute's future and development,and all are equally entitled to the Fellowship of the Institute.
