Inside Your Calculator

I have a fondness for calculators, having owned several over the years, from simple four-function ones that, these days, you can sometimes get free with the purchase of 20 litres of petrol, to much more advanced, programmable, scientific ones. Nevertheless, I have begun to think the calculator has had its heyday - it is disappearing from offices as the ubiquitous PC takes over, I guess it is still fighting a strong rearguard action in schools, but for how much longci I wonder?
