Student Section: Mathematics + Enthusiasm = ?

This article reflects on a students initiative to rejuvenate the lost essence of mathematical culture amongst undergraduates at the Uni-veisity of Manchester by creating a portal for interaction between students and lecturers. Inspired by the life of Evariste Galois, a vibrant mathematical community was established whose journey of creation tliis article traces.
