Small Grant Reports MAFELAP 2009 13th Conference on the Mathematics of Finite Elements and Applications

摘要

The 600 awarded by the IMA to the Brunel Institute ofComputational Mathematics, BICOM, for MAFELAP2009, the 13th Conference on the Mathematics of FiniteElements and Applications, was used to provide support for fiveresearch students from UK universities at the conference. Thesestudents either presented or were co-authors of papers in themini-symposia. MAFELAP 2009 was held at Brunel University,was attended by over 300 delegates, included eleven invited talksfrom leading researchers in the international finite element fieldand 29 mini-symposia.
