摘要

Four new organic volatile corrosion inhibitors (VCIs) were synthesized using 1-(2-aminoethyl)-2-dec-9-enyl-2-imidazoline salicylic acid, nitrobenzoic acid, phthalic acid, and cinnamic acid. They were evaluated as corrosion inhibitors of aluminum, mild steel, brass, and copper. The weight loss, Eschke test, sodium chloride (NaCl) inoculation test, and sulfur dioxide (SO{sub}2) test methods were used. All of the investigated VCIs exhibited good inhibition efficiency for each metal. Cinnamate salt showed the best result.
