Commuting can be quite unpleasant, especially at peak times when the trains are uncomfortably and unhygienically packed. Most people disguise the inconvenience by listening to music, reading newspapers, books or magazines, looking through photographs or browsing for bargains. I like to gaze out of the windows and admire the scenery - I once spotted a white stag reminiscent of Harry Potter's Patronus Charm - and I like to ponder over curiosities.
