China may bar low quality imports

China may ban imports of low quality coal, amid complaints from consumers that Indonesian material is arriving in China with specifications below the contracted quality. As imports have soared in recent months, major users are finding that the quality of the material they receive is below specified quality and they have had to either re-negotiate prices with suppliers or refuse to accept shipments.
